I’m really wishing right now that I would have launched that Super Bowl XL blog I was thinking about back in October. This site doesn’t get many hits, and I’ve made all of 5 Super Bowl posts, and yet I’m still getting traffic. Besides, then Ben Roethlisberger and I could have had something in common.
In other news it doesn’t seem like Detroit has been getting totally ripped in the media. Sure, there is the occasional piece of insipid drivel that laments the lack of palm trees in Detroit. In general though, the reports seem to be positive, neutral, or depressingly factual.
Of course there are other places tracking all the commentary, so instead of a bunch of links to out of town articles. I’ll stick to a couple of compilations of links to out of town media. The Detroit News is doing a daily round-up. As for the insipid piece of drivel, I found that in Bob Allen’s Business Casual column.
(That’s not to imply that Bob Allen wrote the insipid piece of drivel, he merely pointed to it. I’m a huge fan of Bob’s column and is one of the few pieces of writing that make sure to read each day. Seriously, sign up to get it delivered to your mailbox each day. It’s really good)
